Kind Caller offers gentle, non-clinical self-kindness programmes designed to help individuals build emotional resilience, reconnect with what matters to them, and meet life’s challenges with greater presence and care.

Our 12 week Calm programme is especially supportive for people navigating stress, grief, transition, or early stage burnout, those who may not meet clinical thresholds but still need meaningful, reflective support.

Kind Caller was founded after frontline experience of providing calm communication under pressure at the height of the pandemic. Our team brings academic backgrounds in human science and communications, Māori environmental wellbeing and accredited mindfulness facilitation. Our approach is mindfulness and self-compassion-informed, culturally responsive, and deeply relational.

We work alongside, not in place of, mental health services. Referrals from primary healthcare and hauora professionals help ensure individuals are supported in the ways that matter most, before life becomes overwhelming.

About Our Team

Our Kind Callers are non-clinical, accredited mindfulness facilitators with backgrounds in human science, communication, and Māori environmental wellbeing. We operate with a commitment to ethical care, relational respect, and ongoing learning.

Who Should Not Be Referred?

As a non-clinical programme, we are not appropriate for individuals who:
🚫 Are in acute crisis or at risk of harm to self or others
🚫 Require medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment
🚫 Need crisis intervention or trauma-specific clinical care

We strongly recommend all higher-risk clients have a primary therapist or health professional in place.

Who Is This For?

Kind Caller may be a supportive pathway for clients who:
✔️ Are emotionally stable but stretched or overwhelmed
✔️ May be on waitlists for counselling or between supports
✔️ Are open to reflective self-practice in a safe, guided format
✔️ Would benefit from grounding, kindness, and calm, not clinical intervention
