Set Your Intention

Intention

What deeply matters to you?

Take a moment to identify what matters to you. This can become your self-kindness intention, whether it’s self-care, self-love, self-awareness, or something else that resonates. It may reflect a personal value or a starting point. For example, if your intention is to feel calm, it could be about self-care. Setting this intention is the first step toward aligning with your purpose and values.

Note: These self-kindness intentions support general wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical or mental health advice.

“Live Powerfully™”

Understanding your purpose may offer insight into your values and help guide you in setting a meaningful self-kindness intention. You’re invited to set a self-kindness intention as a simple way to honour your wellbeing. To Live Powerfully is not about doing more, it’s about taking intentional steps to support your inner wellbeing and reflect on what matters most to you at this present time.

Why Set an Intention?

1. It brings clarity and focus.

Setting an intention helps you gently name what matters to you right now. It gives your actions direction without pressure or perfection.

3. It supports mindful action.

An intention can act like a compass, reminding you to pause, check in with yourself, and make choices that align with your wellbeing.

2. It grounds you in values, not outcomes.

Unlike a goal (which aims for achievement), an intention reflects how you want to show up in the moment, with self-kindness, presence, or openness, for example.

4. It helps build consistency in self-care.

Without being rigid or demanding, an intention keeps you connected to practices that nourish and support you over time.

5. It encourages self-kindness.

When you set an intention, you’re gently affirming that you matter, that your inner life deserves attention, care, and space.
