Natural World
Te Reo Māori:
Ka tīmata mātou mā te whakahonore i a Ranginui, e tū iho nei,
a Papatūānuku, e takoto nei,
me Tangaroa, e hora nei i te moana.
Ka mihi mātou ki ngā atua me ngā kaitiaki katoa e tiaki ana i te oranga tonutanga o te ao, me te tiaki hoki i ngā mea katoa e ora ana.
English:
We begin by honouring Ranginui, who stands above,
Papatūānuku, who lies beneath,
and Tangaroa, who moves through the waters.
We give thanks to the ancestors who sustain the balance and wellbeing of all life, and who do so in ways that nurture all living things.
Mana Whenua
Te Reo Māori:
Ka mihi atu mātou ki a Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi, me Ngāti Pūkenga hei mana whenua o Tauranga Moana. Ka whakahonore mātou i ngā kaumātua o mua, o nāianei, me ngā uri kei te haere mai, me tō rātou hononga pūmau ki tēnei whenua. Ka hīkoi māhaki mātou i te wairua o te kaitiakitanga e tiaki ana i te taiao e tiaki nei i a tātou katoa.

Ka whakarongo, ka ako, ka hīkoi tahi mātou i runga i te manaakitanga me te whakaute.
