“The kindest thing we can give ourselves is our own attention.”
— Nat
About
I facilitate the Compassionate Strength™ Practice at Kind Caller, guiding you through Kind, Kinder, Kindest™ — three progressive returns that build on one another in a gentle, self-guided practice. I also support the live practice sessions and Living Gently™ Club.
Through Notes by Nat, I explore what it means to care for our attention in a distracted world. I share what I notice, what I learn and what I question, exploring ordinary, widespread and often unnoticed aspects of human awareness.
Readers will find reflections on everyday distractions, technology and the experiences that draw our attention away from the present moment. Each piece offers an opportunity to notice what we might otherwise overlook and consider how we can return our attention with kindness.

Nat has extensive experience in digital transformation programmes and the human impacts of technological change. At Brunel University London, she studied the societal impacts of emerging technologies.
In Aotearoa New Zealand, she studied Iwi Environmental Management. She also delivered a statement at the United Nations advocating for the retention of self-determination in the draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. These experiences have shaped her understanding of attention, awareness and our relationships with ourselves, others and the world around us.
During the pandemic, Nat helped people navigate complex systems. Seeing how easily our attention can drift from the present moment, particularly during challenging times, inspired her to complete mindfulness facilitation training and create Kind Caller®.
