How to Join (or Share) Kind Caller

A Guide to Beginning Gently.

Kind Caller offers non-clinical, self-guided programmes focused on self-kindness, reflection, and gentle daily practices. This guide explains how to begin, either for yourself or by sharing it with others in your community.

1. Who Kind Caller Is For

Kind Caller is designed for individuals who:

  • Are emotionally stable and not currently in crisis

  • Are open to reflective, self-paced experiences

  • May be navigating life changes or emotional stretch

  • Want to reconnect with themselves through gentle, values-based practices

Kind Caller is not a mental health or clinical service. If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit, we recommend checking in with a qualified health professional.

2. Purpose of This Guide

This guide exists to help:

  • Individuals decide if Kind Caller feels right for them

  • Groups in our community understand how to share it appropriately

  • Ensure all participants understand the self-directed, non-clinical nature of the experience

3. How to Begin (for Individuals)

Step 1: Complete the Welcome Form

Answer a few gentle questions to help you set your intention. You may also enter an invitation code if someone shared Kind Caller with you.

Step 2: Review and Agree

You’ll be asked to read and accept our informed consent statement and understand that Kind Caller is a non-clinical, educational experience.

Step 3: Begin the Free 3-Day Calm Morning Pause

This short introduction helps you explore the rhythm and tone of Kind Caller at your own pace.

Step 4: Continue (if it feels right)

If the Calm Morning Pause resonates, you’re welcome to continue with a First Insights as an introduction to self-kindness, then the full self-kindness programmes beyond.

4. How Groups Can Share Kind Caller

If you're part of a group, you're welcome to share Kind Caller with others, including clients, whānau, staff, or members.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Submit an Expression of Interest
Let us know you'd like to share Kind Caller. We’ll provide you with a unique invitation code to pass on.

  2. Share the Code with Care
You can share the invitation by email, in conversation, or using print-ready materials we provide. There's no need to formally refer anyone or track who joins.

  3. They Join at Their Own Pace
People who use your invitation code will complete their own registration and informed consent. Their participation remains fully private and self-directed.

This is not a referral or clinical pathway, it’s simply a way to let us know who helped share the invitation.

5. What an Invitation Code Is (and Isn’t)

An invitation code:

  • Is a simple word or phrase that identifies your group

  • Doesn’t require logins or technical setup

  • Doesn’t allow access to participant info

  • Helps us understand how people found Kind Caller

What it is not:

  • A referral in the clinical or legal sense

  • A professional endorsement

  • Linked to regulated health services

6. What’s in the Forms
