“The kindest thing we can give ourselves is our own attention.”

About

I facilitate the Compassionate Strength™ Practice at Kind Caller, where we practise caring for our attention in a distracted world. Through Kind, Kinder, Kindest™, three progressive returns that build on one another, we enjoy puzzling while practising noticing when our attention naturally drifts, pausing and returning with kindness. I also support the live practice sessions and Living Gently™ Club.

Through Notes by Nat, I explore what it means to care for our attention in a distracted world. I share what I notice, what I question and what I learn, reflecting on ordinary, widespread and often unnoticed aspects of human awareness.

Readers will find reflections on everyday distractions, technology and the experiences that draw our attention away from the present moment. Each piece offers an opportunity to notice what we might otherwise overlook and consider how we can return our attention with kindness.

Nat is the Founder of Kind Caller® and a Compassionate Strength™ Practice Facilitator.
